About the Job

About the Job

NOT actors. Real individual with lived experience required. We are seeking someone who has personally experienced chronic illness, injury, or life-altering trauma and can speak authentically and thoughtfully about recovery and identity evolution. This role focuses on the emotional and practical journey from grief to renewed purpose — not trauma details, but what comes next. Your experience may include (these are examples only — we are open to all lived experiences): • Brain injury (TBI, concussion, stroke) • Chronic illness diagnosis • Amputation or mobility changes • Long-term rehabilitation • Major health event that reshaped your life You may be: • A public speaker • An advocate • A nonprofit founder • A podcast guest or host • An adaptive athlete • An author or community leader • Or simply someone with a powerful, reflective story We are especially interested in individuals who can speak to the bridge between “who I was” and “who I am now” — and how recovery created new meaning or direction. If your story reflects resilience, reflection, and forward movement, we would truly love to hear from you. Rate: $2,080–$2,400 total +20% agency fee (if applicable/booked through a talent agent) (Final rate is pending hours) Includes approximately 16 hours (prep calls, rehearsal, and shoot). Referrals welcome. If you know someone who may be a strong fit but is not on Casting Networks, please have them email: jordon@beaubonneaucasting.com or designcasting101@gmail.com Please include name, contact information, brief background, and resume (if applicable).
