About the Job
A seasoned scientist who takes himself and his work way too seriously. Neil is by-the-book, precise, and perpetually exasperated with everyone around him — especially Brian the cameraman and Artemis when she breaks protocol. His overly serious demeanor, contrasted with the absurdity of the cryo-experiment and Mister Fly’s antics, makes him a key comedic straight man. Must excel at dry, deadpan delivery and “unserious but serious” comedy in a mockumentary tone.
