A sexy twisted thriller..what is she after? Background: As a kid in the 90s, I studied deep work from Adrian Lyne. he created thrillers such as Fatal Attraction, Indecent Proposal and Unfaithful. These slick delicious thrillers captivated me and pretty much defined a big portion of my writing. After Fatal Attraction Douglas went on to star in a slew of sexy storylines that included the iconic Basic Instinct and Disclosure. The beauty of it all s that Michael Douglas was not typecast despite these genre being film performances. I have always wondered what it would look like to create an African American star in this genre. An actor with style and charisma surrounded by explosive talent. We have never had it. The key in capturing an audience is to not just put anything out..it has to be a piece of slick pop, meaning it cannot look like it was made for one particular group. The work has to have a sheen, style and a plot that resonates with a global audience. They say that black LED films don't sell over seas, but that idea is slowly breaking down. Looking for an actor who ULTIMATELY wants to go for that global achievement with product geared to them in this type of psychological sexy genre.
