Pension
We open on an old man sat alone at his kitchen table. He gets a call and answers, a lady from the pension office is on the other end and introduces herself. She asks if a “Mark Henry” is able to speak. He suspiciously replies affirming that he is Mark. She sounds slightly shocked, proceeding to ask “Just to confirm, you’re saying he…” Mark angrily cuts her off exclaiming “Yes I’m still alive you people call me every year to see if I’m dead yet” He’s irate. Going on about how terrible of a practice it is to call someone to see whether or not they’re dead so the company no longer has to pay their pension. She’s very apologetic to which he’s moderately receptive towards. He hangs up, still frustrated. A moment passes, as he stands from the table, he lingers. His face starts to wrinkle as he clutches his chest. He lets out a very sharp grunt and collapses on the floor.

The story synopsis explains the premise of this short and the actions our character undergoes. The only thing I would like to note is that I am specifically searching for an older man who would be believed to be retired.
