"Open the Gates of Love" is a narrative music video for a prominent recording artist, directed by David Telles and produced by Interlude Studios. Stylistically inspired by Paris Texas, Pulp Fiction, and True Romance, the piece is a neon-soaked desert noir following the artist and his love interest "Boo" as they race through the desert in a stolen moment of passion. They are shadowed by a darker figure from her past who wants back what was taken from him. A night of romance in a desert motel spirals into a tense standoff, a brutal confrontation, a surreal twist, and an absurd rescue. The video is non-union, shot over two days on June 6 and 7, 2026, in Pearblossom, CA. Content includes light staged intimacy (kissing and embracing), a fight sequence with a credentialed stunt coordinator, and no nudity.
