Infomercial Non Union
Los Angeles
Synopsis:

This is a documentary-style infomercial focused on products designed to support women undergoing chemotherapy. The content is structured around an intimate interview with the company’s CEO, who shares her personal journey through cancer treatment and the inspiration behind creating these resources. Interwoven throughout the interview are poetic, cinematic montages of women at different stages of life, each portrayed in non-speaking roles. These visual moments serve as emotional subtext, reflecting the fear, vulnerability, resilience, and hope experienced during one of the most traumatic seasons of a woman’s life. Together, the interview and visual storytelling create a deeply human narrative—one that educates, comforts, and introduces meaningful tools created to support women through their chemotherapy journey.

Project Notes

We are seeking three female actors for a non-speaking emotional concept piece promoting hope and support for women navigating chemotherapy. These roles rely heavily on facial performance, subtle expression, vulnerability, and emotional authenticity. These poetic montage sequences will help move the interview with the subject. Each actress must be capable of: • Holding strong, deadpan, emotionally flat moments • Transitioning into visible hope, relief, or empowerment • Delivering a story through expression, eyes, and presence • Conveying both private pain and quiet resilience • Body subtext and emotional diction are the core of this role.
