Kurchayev is Hussar. Tall and good-looking. Has a military, stiff bearing, clicks heels a lot, except when he tells a joke or laugh heartily. He is a goodnatured fellow. The fact that he doesn't take offense may seem to some that he is a simpleton. He isn't.

A hanger-on. Any appearance or shape. A woman, who is taking advantage of a generous wealthy widow, lives in her estate and yet, can be bribed to do the bidding of an outsider, and to the detriment of her patron. Improvization skills required.
