CASTING CALL: We Want to Prank Your Mom. Or Your Grandma. We're casting a hidden-camera prank project and looking for someone to help us prank an older, not-so-tech-savvy person in their life. Your mom, your grandma, an aunt, a neighbor, a family friend. Family or friend, doesn't matter. What matters is they're trusting, expressive, and react BIG when something goes sideways. The person we're looking for: • Still calls you to fix their phone or the TV remote • Has never watched a YouTube video in their life • Takes strangers at their word and believes what they're told • Narrates everything out loud. Yells at the TV. Yells at other drivers. Talks to herself in the car • Would absolutely lean into a strange moment instead of laughing it off Grandmas are gold. Moms are gold. They should be 55 or older, and the older the better. We plan the prank. You bring them. You're in on it and you get to watch the whole thing unfold. ***Important: Do NOT tell them you're submitting. The reaction only works if it's real. SHOOT DETAILS Location: Los Angeles Date: Thursday, September 24th Time: Flexible availability (shoot is about 2-3 hours) Pay: $150 for you + $150 for your family member or friend, paid after the reveal Age: You must be 18+. The person you're pranking should be 55+ unless they are younger and not very tech savvy TO SUBMIT, SEND US ALL OF THE FOLLOWING: 1) Your name, age, phone, and email 2) Who you want to prank and how you know them (first name is fine) 3) Their age and where they live 4) Why they're the perfect person. 5) Do they ever take Uber or Lyft, or do they usually drive themselves? 6) When something goes wrong, who do they call first? (We're hoping it's you.) 7) Any health or mobility issues we should know about? They'll need to get in and out of a car. 8) Once they're in on the joke, do you think they would be OK being on camera?
