The Miners/Additional Creature Roles

Found-footage Horror Film

Feature Film - Man 35 - 65 Non Union Background 08/01/2026 Los Angeles

About the Job

Inhuman miner figures with a strong physical presence. They should feel like disturbing, degraded workers from underground, not generic zombies or random monsters. Seeking performers with unusual silhouettes, gaunt or wiry builds, intense eyes, sharp features, long hair, beards, or naturally unsettling physicality. Creature movement experience is a plus but not required. Performance should feel feral, damaged, reactive, and unpredictable without becoming cartoonish or exaggerated. Movement may include crouching, crawling, stalking, head tilts, twitching, sniffing, recoiling, circling, or sudden animal-like shifts. Vocal work may include guttural breathing, clicking, teeth chattering, strained sounds, low growls, or broken fragments of speech. Heavy makeup, dirt, grime, prosthetics, miner wardrobe, dark environments, and physical creature work may be involved.
