She dreams of becoming someone completely different—more American, more independent, and more in control of her life. She works at a fruit stand beside the freeway, watching cars speed past and imagining what it would feel like to simply drive away. At home, she remains anchored to the chaos she is trying to escape: her mother’s endless drama, her grandmother’s witchcraft, and the weight of her family’s unspoken history. Beneath the sarcasm, eye-rolls, and teenage defiance, Cris feels everything deeply and quietly longs for stability. She is caught between two worlds, two languages, and two versions of herself. Must be strikingly beautiful with a youthful appearance and able to believably portray 16. English must be fluent and natural; Spanish fluency is not required. Role includes one brief kiss with the character of Mike. LEAD — $1,500 total. Works 4 days in late July or early August.
