About the Job
Miles is the most normal guy in the world, which is exactly the problem. Something happens to him that he can't explain, and instead of doing anything remotely reasonable about it, he does what any normal person would do: panics quietly, Googles too much, and eventually tracks down a support group for alien abductees, who take one look at him and say he doesn't count. Looking for someone who can play "spiraling, but polite about it." Deadpan, a little neurotic, and funniest when he's dead serious. Also narrates the film, so we need a voice we want to keep listening to.
