About the Job

Comedic Improviser | Lovable Troll Energy. We're producing a LIVE social content activation for HABRI (Human Animal Bond Research Institute) Look it up and know who and what they are. You will be interacting with the HABRI attendees at the Global Pet Expo. THIS WILL SHOOTS LIVE IN PERSON AT THE ORLANDO CONVENTION CENTER OVER 4 DAYS. MUST BE AVL. FOR ALL DAYS NEEDED. Bob is a charming, Not hyper or over the top, camera-ready skeptic who insists he does not need a pet. He is not anti-pet, per se. He is not anti-love. He just thinks he’s above being emotionally manipulated by a Labradoodle. He is wrong. PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS Bob must: ✔ Be extremely comfortable talking to strangers ✔ Sustain character for long days in a loud expo ✔ Pivot quickly in conversation ✔ Hold eye contact without intimidating ✔ Be dry without being icy ✔ Be bold without being hateful ✔ React instantly without over-performing ✔ Experience with improv He doesn’t need to be punchline-machine fast. But he needs to be incredibly quick on his feet. Quick reads. Quick pivots. Quick responses. The humor comes from reaction and restraint. We want audiences to think: “I want to be the one who cracks him.” At the Expo, Bob will: ● Sit in a dedicated lounge area during long stretches of scheduled times each day. ● Have a sign (and shirt) that reads: “I DON’T NEED A PET. CHANGE MY MIND.” ● Invite attendees to line up and try to convince him to become a pet parent. ● Listen to both scientific facts and personal stories from attendees trying to convince him to get a pet. ● React, respond, banter, and engage… all in character. ● Be filmed during these exchanges for short-form social content. If an attendee convincingly makes their case about the benefits of getting a pet on camera, they receive a limited-edition “I Convinced Bob” t-shirt. By the end of the activation, Bob is ultimately convinced; revealing that he got a pet himself! SLATE AFTER YOUR PERFORMANCE
