About the Job

Seeking background actors to portray funeral attendees at the memorial service of the story’s main character. This is a pivotal emotional sequence that reflects the weight and consequences of the events leading up to the tragedy. Attendees will appear in various shots throughout the service — seated during the eulogy, arriving and embracing others, bowing heads in reflection, and participating in quiet moments of grief. Performances should feel natural and restrained, conveying genuine sorrow, contemplation, or subdued shock without drawing focus from principal cast. Performance Notes: Subtle, internalized emotion (no exaggerated crying unless directed) Respectful, grounded body language Ability to take direction for continuity and tonal consistency Comfortable being filmed in medium and close background framing Wardrobe: Traditional funeral attire in muted, dark tones (black, charcoal, navy). Minimal patterns. Further wardrobe coordination details will be provided prior to shoot date. This scene is visually and emotionally significant in shaping the film’s final impact, and background performers will play an important role in reinforcing the atmosphere of loss and consequence.
