While shopping at a grocery store like any ordinary customer, she begins to drift into a heightened, imaginative headspace where everyday sights take on a sensual, surreal quality. Ordinary items — such as fruit — and brief interactions with store employees and fellow shoppers trigger moments of fantasy as she dissociates from her surroundings.
