About the Job
12-year-old girl. Shattered. Very prim and proper and loves her best friend but she harbors a horrible secret she has just fold him. Scared, insecure, self-loathing. A wonderful and wounded little girl. She is involved in a shared trauma with the boy character and it alters both lives forever. This role is tremendously sensitive. The two scenes the two young versions are involved in are highly traumatic - although much is implied as well. The success of the film depends on the ability of the two we cast for these roles. You will be the backbone for a film that hopes to help so many young people and their parents communicate better to overcome the spectre of generational trauma. It is vital we find two kids who are serious and want to help others. It won't be easy, but it WILL be rewarding.
