Appearance: As the face of HelpTech, she looks welcoming, kind, and energetic. In the beginning she prefers to wear modest yet fashionable clothes, though she won’t shy away from edgier looks during her revenge moments and more sensual looks for her new job as the series progresses. Personality: Mari is bubbly and kind-hearted, always seeing the best in people. After she is framed for cheating and loses her job, her spark is diminished and she has a hard time trusting people again. It is slowly reclaimed through her romance with Blake and him proving that not everyone is as bad as her ex husband and ex best friend. Objective: ● Prove her innocence after the fake cheating scandal blew up her life. ● Learn to trust others after such a big betrayal. Character arc: Mari is excited to celebrate her third anniversary with her husband, happy with her marriage, friendships, and job. After she was framed for cheating and lost everything, she believes there is no way she can reclaim love and financial security– until Blake shows up. He offers her a job at his company, and a way to get back at her horrible ex husband. She rises again, this time with more confidence, a strong support system, and penchant for ruining those who hurt her most.
