A calm storm. The “strong one” who’s carried everyone else’s weight for years. Thoughtful, grounded, introspective — but exhausted from being the fixer. Must convey emotional restraint, subtle rage, and release. Scenes: Central argument with cousin; emotional closure monologue in the car. Think: Nia Long in Love Jones meets Issa Rae with Spike Lee realism. Performance tone: Naturalistic, vulnerable, layered. Must be comfortable with extended close-ups and conversational improvisation.
