RYAN (40ish) on the Autism Spectrum, Asperger's/ ASD Please note we are casting for an actor who has been formally diagnosed with Asperger's/ASD. Ryan is an eccentric, straight-talking quantum physicist... successful in life, but not in love. Unable to understand the ramifications of being on the autism spectrum, Ryan has long struggled to form deep, lasting connections, relying on structure and routine to make sense of a world that often feels overwhelming. His past relationships have been short-lived, usually ending without fanfare and accepted with emotional distance. But with Alice, something shifts. He isn’t just looking for love... he’s searching for a best friend, someone to share in life’s beautiful chaos. NB>The actor will be required to kiss the other actor in this short film. We are primarily casting in QLD but please submit from Sydney and Melbourne. This will be paid at Guild minimum wage of $264 AUD a day.
