18 to play 13, Male, White. Please do not submit if you do not authentically look like you could be 13 years old. Charming, charismatic with a strong natural and palpable chemistry with Charlotte. An adolescent still trying to figure out how to wrestle with his changing body chemistry and figuring out who he wants to be. Try as he might to suppress his aggressive tendencies, using the scant advice of the “Gentleman’s Guide” provided by his school, Max is a mess of conflicting emotions, bottled up impulses and raging hormones. This is a complex character… not an innately bad person. Will Max give into his basest urges (which his society excuses) or will he learn to rise above? Even Max is uncertain of the answer. Talent must be comfortable with intense material and portraying a violent intimate situation. This actor will work closely with an intimacy coordinator, the Director and their scene partner to navigate a twisting and intimate scene with vulnerability, open communication and clear boundaries. LEAD. 2 and 1/2 shoot days and 2 rehearsals. $250/day plus 10% DEFERRED PAY (if the film turns a profit)
