NICHOLAS ASHBY (21) Witty. Confident. Charming. Sarcastic. Flirty. He's a bit cocky at first and loves to tease, but under the façade he's quite a romantic. MALE LEAD. Must be able to film all 7 episodes, scheduling will be discussed. Nick will not be part of the pilot episode, but he is essential to Mabel's character throughout the season. Intimacy Note: The role requires romantic and intimate scenes, including kissing, hand holding, phsyical closeness (e.g., embracing, leaning into each other), and moments where the character is shirtless. There's one scene where it involves the suggestion of intimacy (his hand going under her shirt). Intimacy coordinator will be on set and will be making sure everyone involved feels comfortable. Social Media Note: Alongside the series, there will be promotional and behind-the-scenes social media content highlighting Mabel and Nick's relationship. This may include stylized couple-themed posts, teaser clips, photo shoots, and aesthetic edits designed to build audience investment in the “real couple” dynamic. Actor must be comfortable engaging in these promotional activities as part of the role.
